Bachelor of Science [B.S] Paramedicine

  • A paramedic has a level of knowledge, skill, and treatment capabilities that are significantly beyond those of an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) and which can dramatically improve a patient’s outcome at the hospital.
  • In response to the need for these uniquely trained emergency medical care professionals, the University of New Haven developed its paramedicine program.
  • This program will prepare students to become a new breed of first responders one who holds dual certification as both a firefighter and as a paramedic.

Academic Eligibility: 

  • Students must have an official secondary school transcript to get admission.
  • Students have required all grade reports, mark sheets, academic transcripts, final examination results, diplomas, and degree certificates such as Senior Secondary School Leaving Certificate, Std. X (SSC), Std. XII (HSC), O-Levels, A-Levels, IB, WAEC, CXC, etc.

Language Requirments:

  • Students whose official language is not English are required to submit IELTS or TOEFL scores. 

International students who currently or will hold a degree from an institution where English is the primary language of instruction, do not need to submit a TOEFL or IELTS score report.
