The University of New Haven (UNH) is a private, coeducational university located in West Haven, Connecticut, United States, just outside New Haven. It was founded in 1920 on the campus of Yale University and later moved to its current suburban campus. Today it serves a diverse student body of around 9,200 students across undergraduate and graduate programs. The university emphasizes experiential, collaborative, and project-based learning, including internships, co-ops, and study abroad opportunities. It also has satellite campuses, including locations in Tuscany, Italy, and Orange, Connecticut.
