Undergraduate

  • Application: Common App, Coalition on Scoir, or QuestBridge ($50 fee).
  • GPA: Mid-50% for admitted students is typically 3.8–4.0 (unweighted).
  • Test-Optional: Vanderbilt is Test-Optional for the 2025–2026 cycle. If submitted, mid-50% scores are 1510–1560 (SAT) or 34–35 (ACT).
  • Documents: School Report, Counselor Recommendation, and two Teacher Evaluations.
  • Blair School of Music: Requires a separate application and pre-screening/audition.

Graduate

  • Degree: Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution.
  • GPA: Minimum 3.0 generally required.
  • Materials: Resume/CV, Statement of Purpose, 2–3 Letters of Recommendation, and transcripts.
