Bachelor of Science [B.S] Engineering - Civil Engineering
- The civil engineering concentration of the engineering degree program at Messiah University gives students an overview of the environmental, structural, geotechnical, and traffic areas of civil engineering, with a special emphasis on structural and environmental engineering.
- In the civil engineering concentration, students will learn to plan, analyze, design, and construct structures and systems such as buildings, bridges, transportation systems, and water supply systems in a program that has been named an “Engineering College of Distinction” by Colleges of Distinction for 2020-2021 and a “Top Engineering Program in the U.S.” by U.S. News & World Report.
- Courses in Soil Mechanics and Foundation Design and Water Resources Engineering will prepare students to work in the public engineering sector from municipal to national governments, and in the private sector from individual homeowners to international companies.
