Master of Science [M.S] Mathematics
- The Master of Science in addresses the needs of professionals in the Washington, DC metropolitan area who are interested in pursuing an advanced degree. We have both full-time and part-time students. Many classes are offered in the evening (4:30 pm or later) to accommodate students who are working full-time or part-time outside of our program. The program offers both a standard mathematics track and an emphasis on computational and applied mathematics.
- Students majoring in mathematics take courses in the logical foundations of mathematics, the calculus sequence, matrix algebra, and discrete mathematics. Majors choose from a concentration of applied, traditional, or actuarial mathematics. Both the B.A. and the B.S. in mathematics will allow entry to advanced studies or career opportunities as diverse as the fields to which mathematics is applied. The metro region of Washington, DC is a particularly fertile area for related job opportunities, including consulting, teaching, and government.

Academic Eligibility:
- Students must have completed a baccalaureate degree from a recognized institution.
- Students required a 3.0 Grade Point Average on a 4.0 scale in undergraduate work.
- Students are expected to have completed a degree in engineering, business, computer science, or information technology, with foundational competence in calculus, statistics, and computer programming.
