The Civil & Environmental Engineering (CEE) Department continues to address these global challenges through its didactic and research missions. Through our accredited Civil Engineering (CE) and Environmental Engineering (ENVE) programs, we educate and prepare engineers to face major societal challenges, and the CEE faculty members perform cutting-edge research to develop new solutions to global problems.
The Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BS CE) is a degree program designed to train professionals to plan, design, build and maintain a sustainable and resilient infrastructure.

Academic Eligibility:
- Official high school transcripts including students’ senior classes, class rank (if applicable), and latest grades earned.
- UConn requires official SAT or ACT scores.
- SAT scores are made optional beginning with students applying for Spring 2021 entry and continuing through the next two admissions cycles.
- International applicants whose primary language is not English are required to submit TOEFL or IELTS scores.
