Students can enroll in specialized classes such as animal behavior, comparative anatomy, comparative physiology, animal nutrition, histology, embryology and parasitology. These courses will provide students with an educational background that will make them competitive when applying for acceptance to veterinary schools.

Students in the Biology (BS) Pre-Veterinary program have the opportunity to continue learning outside of the classroom by becoming involved in Barry?s biology-related student organizations, such as Pals-4-Paws, the Pre-Veterinary Club and the Tri-Beta Honor Society.
