Bachelor of Science [B.S] Neuroscience & Cognitive Science: Cognition Emphasis
Neuroscience (the scientific study of the nervous system) and Cognitive Science (the study of how information is represented and transformed in the human brain) are moving ever closer together due to recent technological advances. The University of Arizona is unique in offering an undergraduate program that combines the two. Students in the NSCS program will study at the dynamic interface of Neuroscience and Cognitive Science. The program includes core courses that explore the fundamentals and a series of elective tracks that allow students to pursue their own interests in this highly interdisciplinary field. Laboratory research is especially encouraged.
