The program prepares graduates for careers in colleges and schools of business that emphasize outstanding teaching and research relevant to private and public organizations. Our program received national recognition in 2016 when it earned the No. 5 spot on Top Management Degrees? list of Top 50 Doctorate Programs in Business Management.

Areas of study include Accounting, Computer Information Systems, Finance, Marketing, and Management. Not all concentrations are available to applicants at all times. Currently, the DBA program is not accepting students in finance or accounting concentrations.

The Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) at Louisiana Tech University is a full-time, in-residence program of study which primarily prepares its graduates for careers in colleges and schools of business that emphasize outstanding teaching and research relevant to private and public organizations.

Our students are expected to attain a strategic perspective on business, a command of the theoretical, technical and pedagogical aspects of their chosen field of study and develop a research agenda emphasizing both contributions to practice? and discipline based scholarship.
