Biology is the natural science concerned with the study of living organisms, including their structure, function, growth, origin, evolution, distribution, and taxonomy. The Department of Biological Sciences at Augusta University provides a broad education in the fundamentals of biology via the classroom setting and through hands-on learning in laboratories.
