Bachelor of Science [B.S] Occupational Safety and Health
General objectives:
- To develop in students a detailed understanding of the key concepts underpinning occupational safety and health;
- To provide an in-depth knowledge of the manner in which employers may achieve and maintain high standards of occupational safety and health;
- To provide a Postgraduate program in Safety Management to students from a diverse academic and professional background (engineering, management, psychology, health);
- To ensure that students understand the locus of OHS within Enterprise Risk Management and Corporate Governance and the need to integrate the management of safety and health into all levels of responsibility in an undertaking;
- To ensure that students understand the need to approach occupational safety and health risks primarily through the use of preventative means.

Academic Eligibility:
- Applicant must have received or be receiving a high school diploma or a GED certificate before the term for which he/she is applying.
- Applicant submit your official high school transcript after graduation.
- If GPA is 2.0-2.99, applicant must also report ACT or SAT test score on the application.
Standards:
- High school GPA of 3.0 or higher (no ACT/SAT test score required for admission decision).
- High School GPA of 2.0 - 2.99 with an ACT composite score of 18 or higher (SAT 960 or higher).
Indian Student Eligibility:
Indian students are eligible to apply if they have any one of the following certificates:
- All-India Senior School Certificate (AISSCE)
- Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC)
- Indian School Certificate (ISC)
- Intermediate Examination Certificate
- Pre-University Examination Certificate
- Students must have a Grade XII chemistry or Grade XII physics.
- Students also hold Grade XII math (Minimum math result of 55%).
Students are not required to take the IELTS or TOEFL Academic if English is their native language or if Students have spent at least three years at a secondary school where English is the primary language of instruction.
