The mission of the Center for Integrative Geosciences at UConn is to offer transdisciplinary programs of instruction and research that advance understanding of the interaction of biological, chemical, geological, and physical processes, including feedback mechanisms, at all spatial and temporal scales.
It centers around the processes that have shaped the Earth through geologic time, continue to shape the environment today, and which provide the basis for understanding the present and future impact of human activity on the planet.

Academic Eligibility:
- Official high school transcripts including students’ senior classes, class rank (if applicable), and latest grades earned.
- UConn requires official SAT or ACT scores.
- SAT scores are made optional beginning with students applying for Spring 2021 entry and continuing through the next two admissions cycles.
- International applicants whose primary language is not English are required to submit TOEFL or IELTS scores.
