The Bachelor of Arts with a major in communication program at Trine University prepares students to solve 21st century problems. The major offers a comprehensive communication core that addresses the foundational skills necessary to work in a wide variety of areas including:
- Sports communication
- Journalism and traditional media outlets (print and broadcast)

- New media (audio and video production, social media management, etc.)

- High school students need to take the American College Test (ACT) and/or the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) and request that scores be sent to Trine University. Our code numbers are 1250 for the ACT and 1811 for the SAT. NOTE: the writing section of the ACT and SAT are optional.
- Upon graduation from high school, send your official final high school transcript that includes graduation date to admissions. You will also want to submit transcripts for dual credit or other college courses to be reviewed for credit. An applicant for freshman standing who achieves a score of 3, 4, or 5 on the College Entrance Examination Board’s Advanced Placement (AP) Examination may be granted credit.
