The Kinesiology major develops comprehensive expertise in the human body's development and functions, the roles of physical movement in growth and learning, and the methods for improving and maintaining a high quality of life and personal wellness at every age.

The Exercise Science concentration also serves as pre-professional training for continuation to a graduate program within the Allied Health Sciences.

In the Exercise Science concentration, students study the breadth and depth of various dimensions physical activity, exercise, sport, and athletic performance. This concentration equips students with knowledge related to the functional, nutritional, physiological, and psychological adaptations to movement.
