Bachelor of Arts [B.A]/Bachelor of Science [B.S] Political Science Education (7-12)
As politics are constantly influencing how we are governed and laws that are made, it’s important for the next generation to understand the concepts behind them. You might have a good understanding of how politics work; let Wayne State help you develop a deeper understanding. Then you can take that knowledge and pass it on by teaching political science courses in a school setting.
Our faculty provides interesting courses that deal with an understanding of how humans have come to develop the surface of our planet, the history of that development, and the ways in which people govern themselves today. The interdisciplinary nature of our subjects allow for convenient overlap among topics and opportunity for discussion by means of different viewpoints. We work closely with the School of Education and Counseling in training teachers, and we collaborate with other departments in team-teaching courses.
