As a graduate of our program, you will be able to:

- Demonstrate an understanding of the multidisciplinary criminal justice theories and their implications for policy.
- Understand how to access research, conduct original research, and apply research findings to problems with crime or the criminal justice system.
- Communicate in a knowledgeable and professional manner for a variety of academic and criminal justice settings.
- Demonstrate an advanced writing capacity with the ability to use and reference literature properly.

Academic Requirements:
- A bachelors degree in criminal justice or related field is required
- Students need to submit the official transcripts of previous education to the office and upload unofficial trasncripts on the portal
- A GPA of 3.00 is required in undergraduate degree and 3.0 in graduate degree (if any)
- A minimum score of 300 is required in GRE with minimum 4.0 in analytical writing if GPA of student is below 3.00
- Two letters of recommendation is required
- A personal statement is required
English Language Requirements:
- TOEFL: minimum 79 in IBT
- IELTS: minimum 6.0
- UCM English proficiency exam: minimum 79 required
