  • The Interdisciplinary Toxicology Program at the University of Georgia is comprised of graduate students, faculty, staff scientists, and post-doctoral fellows from several departments within the University.
  • The program is committed to a high quality graduate education and excellence in research, and both faculty and graduate students have received national recognition for their endeavors. 
  • The program of study for Master of Science degrees must contain a minimum of 30 hours of graduate course work. At least 12 hours of the course work must be in courses open only to graduate students. The program of study for a Doctor of Philosophy must carry a minimum of 30 hours of course work, three hours of which must be dissertation research. Students must also sign up for research hours each semester.

  • Students must hold at least a baccalaureate degree accredited by the appropriate regional accrediting association or its international equivalent prior to the expected semester of enrollment, with the exception of University of Georgia undergraduate students enrolled in linked bachelors-masters programs.
  • Minimum TOEFL score requirement: overall score of 80 with at least 20 on speaking and writing.
  • Minimum IELTS score requirement: overall band-width of 6.5, with no single band (score) below 6.0.
