Some managers are staff specialists who prepare information for colleagues to act upon; others are line managers who implement decisions and supervise the actions that result from those decisions. Senior managers, however, most often work from a more generalized point of view. Management majors in the Robert B. Willumstad School of Business have the opportunity to consider all of these managerial modes before embarking on their careers.
