Diploma Business - Management
- The Diploma in Business – Management at Saskatchewan Polytechnic is offered as 2 years program.
- It is an online program offered on a full-time basis.
- This program provides flexible learning facilities such as online or distance which includes include on-site labs, clinicals, practicums or work experiences, and evening classes.
- Students starting the program in January will complete the program in an accelerated format. Students will study semesters 1 and 2 consecutively from January to July and begin their second year in September of the same year.
- Many of the diploma specialties also provide opportunities for co-op work placements.
- Full-time students in Saskatoon apply to the Business Certificate program before entering the Business diploma program. Business diploma students apply through Moose Jaw and Prince Albert.
- The Business certificate program is equivalent to the first year of the diploma program.
- The first year provides a well-rounded foundation in core business concepts, including accounting, computers, economics, human resources, insurance, organizational behavior, marketing, and more.
- Students can take a year to participate in the optional three consecutive four-month paid co-operative education work terms between semesters three and four.
- Saskatchewan Polytechnic's Business management specialty diploma is accredited by the Canadian Institute of Management (CIM)
- The second-year allows students to specialize in one of the following areas of expertise:
- Accountancy
- Financial Services
- Human Resources
- Insurance
- Management
- Marketing
