Bachelor Law and Public Affairs

The Law & Public Affairs major at Lasell has a professional focus, rooted in Connected Learning, that seeks to educate students by promoting self-expression, academic exploration and critical thinking in academic, civic, and career-relevant areas.

  • Lasell's Law and Public Affairs degree program is an interdisciplinary major that gives students the background to appraise and understand the American political and legal systems while examining how law permeates social, political, economic, and other institutions.
  • Students are prepared to continue with  graduate study in such fields as public administration, policy studies, management, political science, and law.
  • Lasell's Justice Studies program has majors in Criminal JusticeLegal Studies, and Law and Public Affairs.

Academic Eligibility:

  • High School transcript (including 1st marking period senior year grades)
  • Personal statement or essay on a topic of own choice (250 word minimum)
  • 1 letter or form of recommendation (must be from an academic teacher or counselor)
  • SAT/ACT scores (optional) Lasell University has a Test-Optional Policy. If the applicants believe on their standardized tests support their candidacy, Applicants are encouraged to submit their scores (CEEB code: 3481). 

Indian Eligibility:

In addition to the items listed in the Completed Application Checklist, International students must also submit:

  • Official results of the TOEFL, IELTS, Pearson or Duolingo English Test
  • Official transcripts from all colleges and universities attended (if he is a Transfer International student)
