Master of Science [M.S] Computer Science - Software Development

  • MSc in Computer Science - Software Development at Marist College is a 2 years program.
  • Marist provides students with hands-on courses utilizing state-of-the-art technology to excel in the design, development, and implementation of software systems.
  • Students get the opportunity to choose from two concentrations:
    • Cloud Computing
    • Mobile Computing
  • In this program, students can access the Virtual Computing Laboratory on or off-campus anywhere with their PC and high-speed internet access.
  • Students can develop a comprehensive theoretical foundation in computer science.
  • The program is comprised of foundation courses, core courses, electives, and optional concentrations. 
  • Based in the Computer Science and Math Department, the MSIS program gives students hands-on computer experience that employers prefer.
  • Evening courses are available to accommodate working professionals.
  • Computer Science classes are held late afternoons and evenings at Marist's main campus, and the regular course offerings take into consideration the needs of part-time as well as full-time students.

Academic Eligibility:

  • Students must have a bachelor's degree or equivalent from a recognized university.
  • A minimum academic overall CGPA of 60% or GPA of 3.0/4.0 or 7/10 or first division graduation with minimal backlogs is required.
  • Students whose official language is not English are required to submit IELTSTOEFL, or PTE scores. 

Indian Student Eligibility:

  • Students must complete a 4-year undergraduate degree with first class in a relevant field from a recognized institution
  • Students need to have a minimum of first-class or upper Second with a minimum of 60% on an institutional basis.
