Diploma Computer Security Analyst
- Diploma in Computer Security Analyst is a two-year program(1320 hours/5 semesters).
- Trebas Institute’s Computer Security Analyst program will train students in best practices in computer security. This will give students the tools and skills to participate in the development of models, systems, or resources to protect computer data.
- During term 1 students will learn: Doing workplace research, tasks and, responsibilities related to the IT security analyst function, analyzing and solving simple problems using basic algorithms, determining error-correcting strategies, and using debugging tools.
- During term 2 they will learn: How to produce the various elements required (plans, diagrams, tables, etc.) for writing technical quotes and reports; choosing, installing, and monitoring computer monitoring software; applying security intervention procedures and performing computer security prevention operations.
- During term 3 they will learn: Defining the characteristics of a local network; installing, connecting, and configuring interconnection devices; connecting computers to the network; setting up shared services and testing to ensure the network works optimally.
- During term 4 will learn: Recognizing and evaluating the best IT security strategies; using error and exception control techniques and using cryptography utilities.
- In this final term they will learn: To establish professional relationships with clients and users through attitudes and behaviors, to work and integrate into an interdisciplinary team, and to understand the ethical and legal responsibilities as a professional analyst. Students will have the opportunity, through a 210 internship, to integrate all the learning achieved during the program.

- The person has interrupted his or her full-time studies or pursued full-time postsecondary studies for at least 2 consecutive terms or 1 school year;
- The person is covered by an agreement entered into between the college and an employer or by a government program of studies;
- The person has interrupted his or her full-time studies for one term and pursued full-time postsecondary studies for one term; or
- The person holds a Diploma of Vocational Studies (DVS/DEP)
