Master of Public Health [M.P.H]

  • In Case Western Reserve University, the Master of Public Health (MPH) program prepare students to improve the health of individuals and communities through education, research and community service.
  • It is an on-campus program comprised of 42 credit hours.
  • It is accredited by the Council on Education for Public Health which gives students the hands-on experience that students need to pursue a career in direct service, public policy, community-based clinical care or healthy choice campaigns.
  • Master of Public Health Program is offered on both a full-time and part-time basis.
  • In the program, students will choose from five concentrations:
    • Population Health Research
    • Global Health
    • Health Policy and Management
    • Health Promotion and Disease Prevention
    • Health Informatics
  • The program can be completed in two years or a minimum of three semesters plus summer.
  • Students will learn from world-renowned faculty, who demonstrate a commitment to diverse and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Academic Eligibility:

  • Students must hold a bachelor's degree or equivalent degree in a related subject from a recognized university.
  • A minimum GPA of 3.0 is required on a 4.0 scale to be eligible for the program.

Indian Eligibility:

Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet one of the following eligibility criteria:

  • Students must complete a 4-year undergraduate degree with first class in a relevant field from a recognized institution
  • Or, students completed a master's degree with first-class in a relevant field from a recognized institution.

Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test to get admission to this program.
