Diploma Tourism and Hospitality Management

- In this 2-year program, students will learn about the exciting and diverse tourism industry with courses in culinary tourism, heritage tourism, sustainable tourism, hotel operations, and event planning.
- Graduates gain the skills required to be progressive leaders within the industry, enriching the experience of tourists.
- Students will also receive industry certifications in food safety, responsible alcohol beverage service, TICO Travel Counsellor Certification, and first aid (CPR).
- As part of the fourth semester, students will complete a 14-week industry externship with their choice of a nationwide or international placement.
- This opportunity will enhance student's knowledge with real-world experience and help them to start building their network of contacts.
- To better hone the international tourism and hospitality management skills students have the option of participating in an exclusive Experiential Study Tour.
- After completing this degree, students may be eligible to enter the Honours Bachelor of Business Administration (Hospitality) degree program at George Brown College as an advanced standing student in September or January.

Academic Eligibility:
- Students have completed an Ontario Secondary School diploma or equivalent degree.
- Students must complete Grade 12 English (C or U) with 60% or higher.
- Students also have to complete a Grade 11 Math (M or U) or Grade 12 (C or U) with 60% or higher.
Indian Student Eligibility:
Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet one of the following eligibility criteria
- Students must be graduated from senior secondary school.
- Students have a minimum overall of 60% in 10th and 12th Grade for all streams.

Students also have a minimum overall of 50% in English and Maths in 10th and 12th Grade.
Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/PTE/any equivalent test to get admission to this program.
