The major requirements for Rutgers Business School: Undergraduate–New Brunswick programs of study can be divided into three parts:
- Six eligibility courses that students must complete before they may take additional courses within the Business School
- Core course requirements that all students must complete regardless of their choice of major program
- A combination of required and elective courses that students take according to their choice of major
Students must complete the requirements of the major that are in effect at the time of their admission into the major.
It should be noted that in order to receive a degree from the Rutgers Business School: Undergraduate-New Brunswick, students must take at least 45 business credits at the Rutgers Business School: Undergraduate–New Brunswick. All core courses and required courses specific to the major must be completed with a grade of C or better.

Academic Eligibility:
- SAT/ACT Scores (with writing) [not needed if graduated from high school two or more years before the dates the classes start at SEBS or if the applicant have finished secondary school and have received at least 12 college credits with final grades by the admissions application due date.]
- Completed application form
- $70 nonrefundable application fee
- Official high school transcript(s) with final grades for all coursework with a certified translation in English. In addition, students might be asked to provide translated syllabi or course descriptions for faculty evaluation once on campus.
- If applicable, official college transcript(s) for all colleges previously attended with a certified translation in English.
Indian Eligibility:
- Indian School Certificate, Intermediate Certificate, Higher School Certificate, Higher Secondary Certificate, All India Senior School Certificate, and Pre-University course: (awarded on completion of Standard XII)
