Clinical mental health counselors work in diverse settings such as: mental health, substance abuse, employee assistance programs, college counseling and career planning, and private practice settings. Upon receiving the MEd in Counseling & Development, students will meet course requirements for eligibility to take the examination to become a National Board Certified Counselor (NCC) and to make application for the Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license.
