Bachelor of Arts [B.A] Organizational Communication and Leadership
- Programs in the Department of Organizational Communication and Leadership equip students with the skills to lead organizations in the public, private, nonprofit and sports sectors.
- Students must have a minimum 2.5 grade point average (GPA) in their first year of undergraduate enrollment at Murray State or any other higher education institution.
- A 2.5 GPA must be maintained in all courses counting toward a major in organizational communication. Students who fail to maintain a 2.5 GPA will not be permitted to take new courses in the department until they reach or exceed a 2.5 GPA.
- The total number of credit hours earned in business courses (AAC, BPA, CIS, FIN, MGT, MKT, OSY, RES) cannot exceed 25 percent of total curriculum requirements.
- Students enrolling in the organizational communication major after their sophomore year may need more than two years to complete the requirements for their major.

Academic Eligibility:
- Applicant must have received or be receiving a high school diploma or a GED certificate before the term for which he/she is applying.
- Applicant submit your official high school transcript after graduation.
- If GPA is 2.0-2.99, applicant must also report ACT or SAT test score on the application.
Standards:
- High school GPA of 3.0 or higher (no ACT/SAT test score required for admission decision).
- High School GPA of 2.0 - 2.99 with an ACT composite score of 18 or higher (SAT 960 or higher).
Indian Student Eligibility:
Indian students are eligible to apply if they have any one of the following certificates:
- All-India Senior School Certificate (AISSCE)
- Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC)
- Indian School Certificate (ISC)
- Intermediate Examination Certificate
- Pre-University Examination Certificate
- Students must have a Grade XII chemistry or Grade XII physics.
- Students also hold Grade XII math (Minimum math result of 55%).
Students are not required to take the IELTS or TOEFL Academic if English is their native language or if Students have spent at least three years at a secondary school where English is the primary language of instruction.
