The ability to think critically, analytically, and conceptually about works of art, and communicate their thoughts effectively in speech and in writing.  The more advanced students would begin to develop a greater understanding of theoretical frameworks for understanding art.

Produce creative works that demonstrate imagination and inventive use of processes, materials, and concepts.

Exhibit visual literacy by communicating ideas through visual means and effectively interpreting visual culture in their portfolios.
