Master of Science [M.S] Mathematics
To satisfy the degree requirements, the Mathematical Sciences Department currently offers a choice between four tracks: mathematics, applied mathematics, engineering mathematics, and data science.
Possible Careers:
Graduates of the program seek positions in industry, government, consulting firms or financial firms, and as community college teachers. Available emphases allow candidates to tailor their future careers by targeting their educational background to their subdiscipline of choice. The job of a mathematician consistently appears among the top jobs in the rankings of 200 jobs by CareerCast's Jobs Rated Almanac based upon factors such as work environment, income, hiring outlook, and stress.

Academic Eligibility:
- Students must have a bachelor’s degree from an institution in the United States, or its equivalent (all majors are considered).
- Students required to maintain at least a 3.0 overall GPA.
Language Requirments:
- Students whose official language is not English are required to submit IELTS or TOEFL scores.
