Graduate Certificate [Grad.Cert] Crime Analytics
- Graduate Certificate in Crime Analytics degree at the Cambrian College is offered a 1-year (3 semesters) program.

- This program will build upon a college diploma, university degree, or complement the training provided by police services to individuals who are currently serving, or who aspire to launch a career in the emerging field of crime analysis.
- Students will develop an understanding of data storage, analysis, programming, statistics, communication, and foundations of data management within the context of policing.
- Students will gain the skills to extract meaningful insights from large and complex data sets to support evidence-based decision-making using a wide range of data and technologies.
- Students will test and apply their knowledge through exercises focusing on critical thinking and problem-solving skills and learn to work as a member of a police major case management team.

Academic Eligibility:
- Students must be graduates of a diploma, advanced diploma, or degree from an Ontario College or equivalent.
- A minimum of 60% is required in each prerequisite course.
- Students working in related industries without a diploma or degree may be considered on an individual basis.
Indian Student Eligibility:
- The students must have completed 10th and intermediate i.e 12th grade which has the minimum with 70% marks.
- Any grade 12 mathematics (C) or (U) (MCT4C is highly recommended)

Students who do not possess the foundational math will need to take the bridging course/s prior to registration.
Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test.
