Bachelor of Arts [B.A] Political Studies
- Political studies look at socio-political change, conflict, and governance at all levels of society, from the local to the global stage. Political ideas and values mould society and shape the way people see and think. Political studies help students understand why governments make the decisions they do, teach students to critically evaluate decisions and allow them to be an informed active citizen.
- In this program, three important areas of the discipline of political science are emphasized: Canadian politics both national and regional, political thought both classical and contemporary, and international affairs. The program encourages the students to sample from all these areas, to help them better understand the political significance of globalization.
