Through interdisciplinary research, our Master of Science in  students are working in some of the hottest and most exciting areas of modern chemistry. The faculty are extremely active while maintaining a strong commitment to teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.  As a result of our excellence in teaching and research, we have the largest PhD program at LSU, and we have also doubled the number of undergraduate majors in chemistry.
