Bachelor of Arts [B.A] English - Professional Writing
- The professional writing concentration is part of the English major at Messiah University. This program provides a unique opportunity to combine a passion for reading and writing with a vocation-centered approach to your education. The concentration curriculum will prepare students to hold a discipline-related writing career in areas like scientific writing, corporate communication, technical writing, editing and more.
- Throughout the program, students will analyze literary texts by reading closely and applying disciplinary vocabularies, theories, and methods; respond to literary texts within their contexts such as culture, genre and literary history; demonstrate writing and rhetorical skills appropriate to both critical and creative tasks in a variety of media and genres, and articulate the connections between Christian faith and the study of English.

Academic Eligibility:
- Students must submit their academic records.
- Students' transcript records must include results/marks for individual courses, as well as diplomas or certificates required in their country as evidence of qualification for university.
