Master of Science [M.S] Telecommunications and Network Engineering

In recognition of the critical need for professional education in this field, the Lyle School of Engineering offers a program oriented toward the management of corporate communications and the engineering of telecommunication networks.
  • This program is intended for students interested in employment with a corporate telecommunications management group, equipment vendor, service provider, regulatory agency, or research or consulting firm. This program is offered both on- and off-campus via remote delivery systems.

  • Research at the Lyle School is driven by this basic premise. Faculty and students also work to solve real world problems by combining engineering ingenuity with the fundamentals of physics and mathematics.

Academic Eligibility:

  • A B.S. in one of the sciences, mathematics or computer science or in one of the engineering disciplines.
  • A bachelor’s degree in liberal arts or business with additional background in differential and integral calculus and physics.
  • Computer programming experience preferred.

Indian Students Eligibility:

A bachelor degree in one of the following:

  • sciences, mathematics, or computer science or in one of the engineering disciplines.
  • A bachelor’s degree in liberal arts or business with a background in differential and integral calculus and physics is required.
  • Computer programming knowledge is required.

Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test to get admission to this program.
