The Topics of the Spanish Studies program vary by section, may be repeated for credit with different topic. Courses taught in Spanish on such topics as: the social scene in Latin America, regionalism in Latin America, survey of Latin American arts, Mexican culture, the River Plate and Chile, race in Spanish-American literature, Latin American film, religion and violence, Hispanics in the United States, and the Latin American short story.
