Bachelor of Science [B.S] Neuroscience

  • DePaul’s Neuroscience bachelor’s degree program is an interdisciplinary program that draws from the natural, behavioral and computational science fields.
  • In the program, students will learn:
    • fundamental concepts that underlie the function of the nervous system on a cellular and molecular level
    • how the nervous system produces behavior and cognition
    • the role of computer science and mathematics in new technologies and therapies within the field
    • neuroscience research methods and theory through scientific investigation, laboratory experience, and research opportunities
  • The Neuroscience bachelor’s degree will prepare students for a wide range of science-related careers, including pursuing a professional degree in health and/or medicine.

Academic Eligibility: 

  • Students must have an official secondary school transcript to get admission.
  • Students are required to maintain at least a 2.0 overall GPA.

Language Requirments:

  • Students whose official language is not English are required to submit IELTS or TOEFL scores. 
  • Students are required to submit an SAT or ACT score to be considered for admission. 

International students who currently or will hold a degree from an institution where English is the primary language of instruction, do not need to submit a TOEFL or IELTS score report.
