Master of Science [M.S] Medical Genetics
The Department of Medical Genetics offers the program in both Masters and PhD degrees. MSc in Medical Genetics is 2 years, an on-campus program offered on a full-time basis. Students are required to complete a minimum of 6 in graded graduate-level coursework and a thesis. Academic Eligibility:
- Students must have a four-year undergraduate degree in a relevant field from a recognized university.
- Students having a background in biology, or cell biology, or genetics, or biochemistry are eligible to apply.
- A grade point average (GPA) of 3.2 out of 4.0 in the last 2 years (approximately 60 credits) of post-secondary study is required.
- If English is not the student's first language then they must provide proof of English competency.
Indian Student Eligibility:
- Students require an undergraduate degree from a recognized institution with 60% First Class Standing/Division.
- Students may also hold a bachelor's degree of 4 years.
- The GPA required by Indian students is 7.90 in 10 points.
