Master of Education [M.Ed] World Languages Education
Beginning in their first Professional Education class, students complete at least 100 hours of classroom observation and interaction with teachers and students. These field experiences prepare students for student teaching internships. For 16 weeks, students work alongside master teachers observing, designing lesson plans and teaching.
Students take courses in grammar, conversation, composition, reading, culture, civilization, literature, history of the language, second language acquisition theory and methodology. To become experts in the language and culture, students are strongly encouraged to participate in one of the many study abroad opportunities at the University of Oklahoma.
