Art History students may participate in courses offered by the State University System’s programs in Paris, London, and Florence. Other study-abroad programs may be approved by the director of graduate studies. 

For the M.A. degree, the School offers areas of emphasis in Ancient, Medieval, Renaissance/Baroque, Modern, and non-Western art history (including African, Asian, and Oceanic). A minimum of 36 credit hours is required.

Academic Eligibility:

  • Students must hold a recognized baccalaureate, graduate, or professional degree from a regionally accredited US institution or a comparable degree from an international institution.
  • For applicants with a bachelor’s degree only, a minimum grade point average of B (3.0) is required.
  • Students must be qualified in IELTS or TOEFL to get admission to this program.
  • Submission of GRE scores is required.

Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet one of the following eligibility criteria:

  • Completed a 4-year UG degree with first class in a relevant field from a recognized institution.
  • Completed a master’s degree with first-class in a relevant field from a recognized institution.
