Master of Science [M.S] Electronic Commerce

  • Dalhousie University offers a Master of Electronic Commerce for a duration of 2 years.

  • In the research project stream, students have to take 8 courses, an internship, and a research project.
  • students work on their project under the guidance of their supervisor and will prepare their final project report taking 2 academic terms (8 months).
  • In the research paper stream, students have to take 10 courses, research papers, and have to complete an internship.
  • The research paper must be augmented with two additional available courses relevant to the area of specialization.

Academic Eligibility:

  • Students should have completed a 4-year bachelor's degree in computer science or related field from a recognized university.
  • A minimum GPA of at least 3.0/4.33 (B grade) in the last 60 credit hours of study is required to be eligible for the program.

Indian Student Eligibility:

Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet the following eligibility criteria:

  • Completed a 4-year UG degree with an upper second class in a relevant field from a recognized institution.
  • Students with bachelor's degrees in computer science or engineering from Indian universities are encouraged to submit their JEE or GATE scores.

Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test.
