While they view the introductory public speaking course as a fundamental part of the KU experience, the majority of courses in the major do not focus on public speaking skills. Also, note that courses in Public Relations, and the like, are offered through the Journalism School , not our department. More detail on specific courses in the major can be found in the COMS Office.

Students must apply and be accepted to the Undergraduate program.
