- Eectrical Engineering involves the design of devices and systems that employ the flow of electrons to achieve useful purposes. It encompasses electrical power generation and distribution, robotics, electronics, wired and wireless communications, optoelectronics, signal processing, computers, radar, medical imaging and many other technologies.
- Electrical Engineering and Management at McMaster University is a unique five year program that integrates the technical education of the engineer with a business education for management.
- The Electrical Engineering program is a broad-based, classical discipline with room for specialization: both computer engineering and biomedical engineering developed from the foundations of electrical engineering. This program focuses heavily on the physical design of electronics, electromagnetics and communication systems. Power systems, sustainable energy, and computer hardware/software are integrated into the program.

Academic Eligibility:
- Students have to complete the minimum Grade 12 U and M requirements:

- Calculus and Vectors U

- Physics U
- Students have a complete of two additional U or M courses to total six courses.
- Applicants must complete a mandatory online assessment (Kira Talent).
Indian Student Eligibility:
- Students must have passed standard XII from the All India Senior School Certificate awarded by CBSE / Indian School Certificate awarded by CISCE.
Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test.
