- Biology is the science of living organisms and their interactions with the world around us. Several biology courses also deal with the influence that humans have on the global environment.
- The Department of Biology offers courses that emphasize the structure and function of organisms, from molecules to ecosystems.
- Undergraduate and Graduate Programs are available in Microbiology, Animal and Plant Physiology, Cell and Molecular Biology, Marine and Freshwater Ecology, Evolution, and Environmental Sciences.
- The program also has a Co-op program for students who wish work experience intermixed with studying.
