Master of Accounting [MAcc]

  • The Master of Accounting (MAcc) degree program is an accelerated, cohort-based graduate program designed to help students, as undergraduate accounting (business) majors, achieve their career goals and certification requirements. The MAcc program offers a dynamic learning environment to prepare students to sit for all four sections of the CPA exam. 
  • The School of Accountancy at KSU’s Coles College of Business is one of the largest accounting programs in the State of Georgia and is home to the internationally recognized Internal Audit Center.

Academic Eligibility:

  • Transcripts - Official transcripts from EACH College and/or University you have attended.  Must be in a sealed envelope from the institution or sent electronically from the institution directly to ksugrad@kennesaw.edu.
  • Bachelors degree from a regionally accredited college or university with a minimum GPA of 2.75.
  • Official Evaluation of all foreign transcripts is required. Transcripts must be evaluated by one of the following agencies. Evaluations must include course-by-course and a calculation of your GPA. The evaluation must come to us in a sealed envelope or electronically directly from the agency.      
  • GMAT Score Report - Request that student's scores be sent electronically to KSU.
    • The following GMAT Alternatives are available:
      • An advanced degree (e.g., masters, doctorate), or
      • An undergraduate grade point average of at least 3.5 OR at least 3.6 in your accounting major from an AACSB accredited institution, or
      • An accounting professional certification (e.g., CMA, CFE, CIA), or
      • At least 3 years of professional accounting work experience as evidenced by your submitted resume.
    • By choosing one of these GMAT Alternatives students are requesting that they not be required to submit a GMAT score. These alternatives are listed in the application and students can choose more than one. Choosing one of these on the application does NOT guarantee an alternative to the GMAT will be granted.
  • Interview - An interview may be required. If so, you will be contacted by the program to schedule the interview.
  • International students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test to get admission to this program.
