Texas Christian University, Nursing, enabled by a trust fund established by the late Dr. Charles Houston Harris, was organized as an academic unit of TCU in 1946.
TCU Nursing is approved by the Texas Board of Nursing. Graduates are eligible to sit for the examination for licensure as a registered nurse (R.N.) in Texas or any other state in the United States.
Successful completion of the National Council Licensure Examination in one state qualifies graduates to apply for licensure in any other state.
