Master of Science [M.S] Chemistry

  • DePaul’s MS in Chemistry prepares students for advanced work in chemistry and biochemistry, and for further graduate study.
  • Through either a thesis or non-thesis degree option, students will learn the theory and ethical practice of Chemistry within the scientific method and gain context for appreciating the history of Chemistry in society.
  • The facilities include seven dedicated teaching laboratories, the latest instrumentation, and a machine shop. Faculty have active research programs in:

Academic Eligibility:

  • Students should have completed a bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent from a recognized university.
  • Students require a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale.

Language Requirments:

  • Proof of English proficiency may be required for international applicants, whose first language is not English.
  • Students must be qualified in IELTS or TOEFL to get admission to this program.

International students who currently or will hold a degree from an institution where English is the primary language of instruction, do not need to submit a TOEFL or IELTS score report.
