Master of Arts [M.A] Psychology
- Psychology is a diverse discipline that attempts to understand the basis of behaviour, thoughts and emotions. Psychology at UBC was introduced as a single course in 1915 and was initially offered by the Department of Philosophy.
- UBC’s Department of Psychology is a top-ranked research department in Canada and in the world.
- The 58 faculty members and 122 full-time graduate students and postdoctoral fellows conduct research across the spectrum of psychology, representing seven sub-disciplinary specializations: Behavioural Neuroscience, Clinical, Cognitive Science, Developmental, Health, Quantitative Methods, and Social/Personality.

Academic Eligibility:
Following are the academic requirements needed to attend the program:
- Students admitted to the program are expected to have an Honours degree in psychology or a related field, with a minimum average of A- grade (80%). Official transcripts for all post-secondary institutions attended.
Indian student requirements
- A four-year bachelor's degree or a master's degree.
- The bachelor’s degree with 65% marks or 8 on a 10-point scale.
Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test to get admission to this program.
