Bachelor of Arts [B.A] Photography
- They consider the photographic image as both language and craft. The language of the photography addresses how signifiers, symbols, and metaphors are used to create meaning within the photographic frame. Through classes that address digital and analog skills, students learn how to use digital and film cameras, edit their images, and make digital and darkroom prints.
- The goal of this program is to draw attention to the construction of the photographic image and how it produces meaning in order to teach students the necessary skills to produce their own meaningful images and participate responsibly in visual culture.
