Rutger’s courses introduce students to world-class literature, film, art history, and philosophy.They offer two options for majors and minors: the German Language and Literature option, which trains students to attain linguistic proficiency and a broad knowledge of German literature and culture, and the interdisciplinary German Studies option. The FUBiS summer program offers terrific courses onsite in Germany; generous scholarship support is available. Students can also study in Konstanz or at the Free University of Berlin for a semester or full academic year!

Academic Eligibility:
- SAT/ACT Scores (with writing) [not needed if graduated from high school two or more years before the dates the classes start at SEBS or if the applicant have finished secondary school and have received at least 12 college credits with final grades by the admissions application due date.]

- Official high school transcript(s) with final grades for all coursework with a certified translation in English. In addition, students might be asked to provide translated syllabi or course descriptions for faculty evaluation once on campus.
- If applicable, official college transcript(s) for all colleges previously attended with a certified translation in English.
