Bachelor of Science [B.S] Neuroscience
Students take a core set of required courses in psychology, biology, and chemistry,?which prepares them to understand the biological basis for neural processing and higher cognitive functions. In upper level courses, students explore contemporary neuroscience theory and research, examine specific areas of neuroscience, and gain?experience in experimental and laboratory approaches to neuroscience research. Students are encouraged to pursue independent research in neuroscience with a faculty member through the Summer Collaborative Research Program, independent studies or research apprenticeships, or the departmental honors programs.
